Important to Read


Protecting the health and safety of our guests and staff will continue to drive the Magnolia Mansion's response to COVID-19. Procedures and decisions will be informed by State and Federal guidance.

As of June 19, 2021, fully vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear masks. Unvaccinated individuals should wear masks and are encouraged to get vaccinated ASAP (all experienced travellers know vaccinations are par for the course).

HOTEL GENERAL POLICIES PLEASE READ


All overnight guests must be 12 years or older. (No Pets).

***We have stairs (no elevators or handicap access***)

Check In guaranteed after 3:00pm CST | Check Out: 11:00am CST.

NOTE: Reservations are only guaranteed until 7:00 pm and will be considered a "no show" unless the Magnolia Mansion reservation office has been contacted. ALL Late and Early Arrivals MUST notify the hotel ahead of time to make special arrangements before your arrival.

NOTE: PLEASE BE ADVISED, IF A RESERVATION IS CONFIRMED AFTER OFFICE HOURS AND GUESTS DON'T CALL OR SHOW AFTER CONFIRMING THE ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL, A $50 NO SHOW/CALL FEE WILL BE CHARGED.

Magnolia Mansion is a Non-Smoking Property (smoking is allowed outside on Veranda). The hotel has a $300 smoking fine. NO SMOKING. NO CANDLES. NO INCENSE OF ANY KIND.

FRONT OFFICE HOURS: CALL 504-412-9500 Office hours are between 8:00am to 6:30pm to book your room if you cannot reserve it online.

NOTE: ALL RESERVATIONS made through a 3rd party reservation system (Expedia, Booking.com, etc.) are guaranteed a specific room type but not a particular room. To be guaranteed a specific room choice, bed size, particular bathroom amenities, floor level, or other special requests, you must call Magnolia Mansion direct to book your room.

NOTE: Rates, Pricing, & minimums may not apply during special events, holidays, or convention dates. Additional per person charges may apply. King & Queen accommodations are for a maximum of two persons per room. NOTE: The Mardi Gras room can accommodate up to four adults. The Vampire Fairytale and Storyville Bordello Jazz can accommodate up to three adults in each of these rooms ONLY. EACH PERSON, AFTER THE SECOND GUEST, MUST PAY $75 PER DAY PER GUEST.

All Reservations are Pre-Paid in Full at the Time of Booking.

SPECIAL EVENTS, HOLIDAYS & CONVENTION DATES REQUIRE MORE NIGHTS FOR MINIMUM STAY! Note: Minimum Differs Depending on Special Event Dates! PAYMENT METHOD: VISA, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Debit Cards. NO CASH, Travelers Checks or Personal/Business Checks.

If your credit card is declined, we can only hold the room for 24 hours without payment. After that, we will need to remove the reservation from our system.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Please note if cancelled, modified, or in the case of a no-show the total price of the reservation will be charged. NO REFUNDS

All Holidays, Special Events, Convention Dates, Special Promotions, Gift Certificates, Ghostly Getaways, Elopement, and Wedding Packages are Pre-Paid, NON-Transferable, and NON- Refundable.

Any changes to the reservation may result in additional charges. All modifications to a reservation are subject to the prevailing availability and hotel restrictions, including a minimum night, stay requirements, and seasonal rates.

*IN THE EVENT OF A HURRICANE OR ANY INCLEMENT WEATHER, A CHANGE OF DATE WITH NO PENALTIES OR FEES WILL BE GIVEN. NO REFUNDS.* When given a minimum of two-week advance notice, some room reservations & packages can be credited to a future date based on availability. This credit must be used within 6 months from the original reserved date & cannot fall over Special Event, Holidays, or Convention Dates.

SECURITY POLICY: Your payment and personal information are always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

AGE RESTRICTIONS: All overnight guests must be 12 years or older. No Pets!

No unregistered guests allowed in guest rooms or on mansion property at any time unless pre-arranged with management before arrival.

PARKING: Our hotel is in the beautiful the Garden District. FREE Street parking is available. Public parking garages are available nearby. Guest parking is NOT available on the property.

NOTE: NO Elevators, Stairs only. Wheel Chair Access is NOT available inside the mansion, only in the courtyard rooms.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone!
CHILDREN AND PET POLICY
All children must be 12 and older. No pets are allowed.

ARRIVALS AFTER 6:30 PM - FRONT OFFICE HOURS
FRONT OFFICE HOURS: CALL 504-412-9500 between 8:00am and 6:30pm to book your room if you cannot reserve it online. Front Office is closed from 6:30 pm to 8:00 am.

NO REFUNDS
Once your room is reserved the hotel has a non refundable policy.

3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements.

AUTO-COLLECT
A 100 percent deposit is collected at the time of purchase. Payment for retail items and gift certificates is collected at the time of purchase.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY
Your credit card information is stored and processed securely.
